These Rider Biomechanics and Symmetry sessions look at your posture and position on the horse and how your position may affect the horses way of going. Becoming a more symmetrical rider will enhance performance. If you struggle with your lateral work one way to the other, find sitting to the trot or canter difficult, have a tendency to lean forward, have funky elbows, are an exuberant riser, have flappy legs, busy hands, suffer with tension or nervousness then these are all things we can look to work on and polish up in these sessions, using Equipilates techniques, ABC (Alignment, Breathing and Core), the Franklin Method and balls as well as activation techniques.
Having done some CPD with Andy Thomas @ Testt and Event Physio. We look at symmetry and specifically different weaknesses thoughout the body and how this can have an affect on rider position. Using activation techniques, the use of bands and tape if needed. Each session is tailored to each individual needs, whole sessions can be done in walk if needed.
Sessions cost £35 – avaliable most week days in Llanon.
If you’d like to book me for a clinic – I offer discounts for the host depending on how many people are booked in.
